Pickles

Pickles are a collective term for vegetable products, preserved through vinegar or lactic acid. Pickles are therefore a non-perishable vegetable product preserved with the help of acidity. Two main categories of pickles may be differentiated:

• Fermented vegetables
• Vinegar pickles
