Qualitätswein bestimmter Anbaugebiete or short QbA is a category in German wine qualification. The quality of the wine lies between Tafelwein and Kabinett. It must have a minimum of 50 - 70 degrees oechsle. QbA-wines may contain additional sugar. They are tested and have an official test number on their label. The category can be compared to the Italian DOC and the French AOC.
