Qualitätsschaumwein bestimmter Anbaugebiete or short QbA is a category in German wine classification. Sparkling wines with these labels must be produced in certain areas of Germany and the grapes must have a specific ripeness. In the classification of German sparkling wines QbA is the third category from the top. It has to contain 100 % of Qualitätsweine bestimmter Anbaugebiete. The category can be compared to the Italian DOC and the French AOC.
