Peptide, Oligopeptide, Polypeptide

Peptides are polymers formed from amino acids linked in a defined order. Where there are only few amino acids (less than 50), those polymers are called Oligopeptides. Proteins that usually have hundreds or thousands of amino acids are called Polypeptides.
