A Panada is a paste or gruel that is used as a binder. It is made from bread, flour, potatoes or rice and used for different forcemeats or stuffings. Panada derives from the French term panade and means bread mash.

Depending on the ingredients of the recipe panadas are classified as bread panada, flour panada, egg panada, potatoe panada or rice panada.
